Cozy in a Reading Nook

While surfing through the pages of Facebook, I just run into a longtime crush of mine. And that crush of mine is a Reading Nook. The first and the last time I’ve been in a Reading Nook has been in Istanbul at the gorgeous ÇIRAĞAN PALACE hotel (click here to flip through the gorgeous photos of the hotel).

So, that first time I got inside a Reading Nook, I fell in love with it instantly. It was comfy and cozy to the n’th degree! The room was a Superior Sea View Suite, so inside the nook I enjoyed the sun all day through the 3-sided window of the nook. With the same interior design, the room looked pretty much like the below actual room of the hotel. And the only difference was that, instead of the balcony, there was a cozy nook sticking out of the wall.

So having run into a Reading Nook photo on Facebook, I just realized that I have missed it so much! So I am thinking “Maybe I’ll put my bed next to the window and make my version of a Reading Nook…”

But the thing is that ever since I started writing my own stories, I have stopped reading others’ books. So calling that chill-out spot by the window a “Reading Nook” will be a lie in my case. Instead, maybe I will call it a “Writing Nook” as I like to get cozied-up on my bed when I write my blog stories. As an example, see below freshest photo I’ve taken just now for your view. moving-animated-eyes-finger-pointing-down

And if you would like to create a Reading or Writing Nook at your home, have a look at below favourite pictures of mine from Google Image.

This one below is so me in style. moving-animated-eyes-finger-pointing-down Asian-style design, lots of pillows, a tea pot and a lot of tea bowls look so like me!

And this one is a beautiful nook for children’s room. Sure to have such a nook for my children to foster their reading habits!

Jumpsuit discovery – 04.03.16

Three days ago I happened to buy two sleek jumpsuits to wear in my R&B dance classes. I bought them for the flexibility and the lightness of the material and back then I didn’t even know what they were called. And today while looking for something to wear in my Hip Hop dance class, I luckily run into another sports-style jumpsuit at Adidas Neo; and when I put it on, it felt as heavenly comfortable as the other two. In fact, by now I have really fallen in love with this jumpsuit creation and I can easily see myself collecting more of it.

Fruity juicy icecube business

After watching below video this morning, I thought “Why not a fruity icecube business?

(If you are curious about where that thought came from, just like dentists can’t help noticing others’ teeth first, businesspeople can’t help framing many things, if not most things, in a business context. So there it is again…)

So what if someone puts his/her heart and soul into establishing such a business and supplies all bars and restaurants with “natural fruity juicy icecubes”? What if that person convinces all supermarkets to sell his/her icecubes as a standard commodity and consumers develop the habit of buying them with their water and alcoholic drink purchases? What if that person invents an “icecube vending machine” and installs them at fitness centers, saunas, and wherever else people need to drink a lot of water.

If someone does that, all I can think of is that many people will drink more water and cocktails. Many fruits and berries will be consumed without much efforts. And many bodies will be naturally detoxed.

B’s photo diary: 8 December, 2015

Today I visited the headquarters and the flag ship store of another green fashion/lifestyle brand Hessnatur (http://www.hessnatur.com/de/) and there I saw yak wool products made in Mongolia. Normally I am far from being a nationalist or a patriot. But I have to admit that it feels really good to see products made in Mongolia selling in Europe.

Children’s Clock

Today while reading a children’s book in German, I saw the picture of this clock, which is named “Kinderuhr” or “Children’s clock” in English. I thought it was a great idea not only for children who can’t read a clock, but also awesome for adults who need to do certain activities at certain times of the day persistently. How awesome would it be if you look at the clock and it shows you that the medicine-taking time is approaching, or that you need to exercise, etc. I think such a clock would be down-to-the-point and will communicate to human mind directly.

Green Earth

Today I walked into this shop, the brand name of which is “Green Earth” in English. It is an Austrian-headquartered lifestyle brand and they have 6 stores in Austria and 7 stores in Germany. Slowly “green” concept is moving into lifestyle and fashion sectors, and making the public more aware of the environmental impacts of their lifestyles.
