Bella and I use WeChat (Chinese: 微信 Weixin) as our daily chit-chat texting tool since we’ve studied and lived in China. The convenience of text messaging, hold-to-talk voice messaging, broadcast (one-to-many) messaging, video conferencing, video games, sharing of photographs and videos, sharing of moments, and location sharing, WeChat is becoming the main social networking tool in China and throughout the world.
A week ago, Bella was wondering that when I change my WeChat profile picture by Melinda’s picture as I have on my Pinterest, Twitter and phone screen. My current profile photo is a Christmas tree photo which I took last year. For some reason, I chose this photo as my profile image and for some reason do not feel like to change it. So today, I realized the reason. 🙂
The reason was, “I want to be like that Christmas tree”. The most beautiful everlasting green tree, decorated by collected special and fantastic ornaments those have their own stories, bright and colorful lights. Most importantly, surrounded by my loved one’s; my dear husband, lovely parents, sweet grandparents and handsome my brother-in-law, adorable cats. It was one of the most memorable times in my life.
Christians use Christmas tree as a sign of everlasting life with God. I want to be like a Christmas tree; stands in the center of attention, admirably beautiful, decorated with all good personalities, inspirations, strengths with full of passion; brightens the world with my inside and outside beauty; be a sign of everlasting happy life.
I want to be a sign of new beginning like spring comes to earth; brings excitement, love, peace, hope, beauty, warmth, appreciation and happiness to the family and the whole world.
