The Love of Candles

When I visited Deniz’s (my ex-colleague and new friend) home in Istanbul, I fell in love with her candle collection. Candles were everywhere in her gorgeous huge apartment. All shapes and all scents and I just fell in love with them.

So today during my good-stuff-hunting trip to Hauptwache, I bought 3 different orange candles. Why orange? Because that’s my Sweet Blog color and also goes with many of my home deco.

And here are 2 of the candles I bought:

And wanting to get more creative with the candles next time, I googled and saw great potential out there. See below:

Aren’t they gorgeous?

And a few days after I wrote this post, Deniz kindly fullfilled my wish and sent me her candle collection photos. giphySo here they are presented to please your eyes:

And after I shared this post with Deniz, she liked it and we had a little sweet chat about it. See below ↓

And I am really hoping that Deniz will design and create beautiful dresses for her candles and help us see the potential of Candle Art

And in this post, I keep repeating Deniz, Deniz, Deniz here, so you must be curious about how she looks like. Well, here she is on the left-hand side↓

In this picture, Deniz and I are standing outside our Silk&Cashmere headquarters at the company’s New Year lunch event (as Deniz said it in above Whatsapp chat. I have no recollection of having this picture taken.)

The man in the middle is Recep. He was in Deniz‘s department and also was my 2nd favorite man in the whole company.

And finally, after having seen and smelled so much beauty in candles, I decided to incorporate fragrant candles into my life for good.

And how about you?

Feel good!
