The World Needs More Lady Gagas!

I am not saying that because I am one of her “Little Monsters”. I don’t follow her, I don’t listen to her and as much as I like visual arts, I don’t check out her audacious costumes. Well, until at least now perhaps…

I am saying “The World Needs More Lady Gagas!” because she brings out who she is. Because she knows that who she is beautiful, fascinating and entertaining. And because she is comfortable in bringing out what comes out of her. And because I have started to bring out what comes out of me.

And WHATEVER comes out of me, I trust that it is beautiful, it is inspiring, it is empowering and it is WHO YOU ARE AS WELL!

That’s why I say “The World Needs More Lady Gagas!”

Also honoured at the bash were Diane Von Furstenberg with an Accessory Visionary Award, Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta as Designer of the Year and Burberry as Brand of the Year – other guests included Agyness Deyn, Molly Sims and Betsey Johnson. Tragically, the event was tinged with shock and sadness when it emerged that, shortly after the melee surrounding Lady Gaga’s arrival, AJ Sokalner – a photographer outside the venue – passed out, struck his head on the pavement and stopped breathing. Emergency services arrived to administer CPR and the photographer was taken to Bellevue Hospital, but he was pronounced dead there a few minutes after arriving.
